Creating Profile in Huawei Modem Mobile Partner.

Every modem, whether Huawei or ZTE installs a programs in the computer. This includes the drivers and the interface for the users to interact with instead of the complicated process within windows. The installed software is also known as the modem dashboard. In many cases, modem comes with a customized dashboard specific for the mobile company e.g. Safaricom, Airtel e.t.c.For customized modems there is no need to configure as it comes already configured, and install the same into the computer. However, if you have an Open modem not locked to
specific mobile company or unlocked modem, then you have have to configure the settings depending on the SIM card you want to use. In my own experience, Safaricom, Airtel and YU network work automatically with any setting.
To add Orange network in the Dashboard whether in Safaricom or Airtel software, you will have to create a new profile. The process is simple, So there is no need to worry.

Huawei Modem Dashboard

Open the Modem Software: Dashboard..

• Click on the ‘Tools’ Tab to open
• Select ‘Option.’
• Select ‘Profile Management.’
• On the far right ‘Click New to create a new profile.’
• Enter Detail as shown in the image above.
•  Click ‘Save button’ to save the new profile.

When using Orange SIM card always select the orange profile. You can customize the settings for other mobile networks in the same way.
